Job Description

Masters' Union is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Student Discipline and Hostel Coordinator. This position requires a dedicated professional who can effectively manage disciplinary issues among students while also overseeing hostel issues to ensure a safe and conducive living environment. Job description Student Discipline Develop and implement effective disciplinary policies and procedures in alignment with the school's values and code of conduct. Investigate and address student misconduct, including but not limited to academic dishonesty, behavioral infractions, and violations of school policies. Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolution among students with professionalism and fairness. Maintain accurate records of disciplinary incidents and follow-up actions taken. Provide guidance and support to students in understanding and adhering to school rules and expectations. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and relevant stakeholders to promote a positive and respectful campus culture. Hostel Coordination: Oversee the daily operations of the hostel facilities, including room assignments, maintenance, and cleanliness. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency procedures to safeguard the well-being of residents. Address residents' concerns and inquiries promptly and effectively, fostering a supportive and inclusive community atmosphere. Coordinate with maintenance staff and external vendors to address facility issues and ensure a comfortable living environment. Organize social and educational programs to promote student engagement and a sense of belonging within the hostel community. Qualifications: 1) A Master's degree in education, counseling, psychology, student affairs, or a related field is preferred. 2) Previous experience in student affairs, residential life, or a similar role within an educational institution is highly desirable. 3) Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy. 4) Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 5) Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to respond to emergencies or attend student events.
