Job Description
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Strategic Planning and Implementation:**
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategic plans to enhance student success, retention rates, and overall well-being.
- Analyze data and identify key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and interventions.
- Implement evidence-based practices and innovative solutions to improve academic outcomes and student satisfaction.
2. **Leadership and Vision:**
- Provide visionary leadership in designing and implementing programs and initiatives that address the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a culture of success, empowerment, and inclusivity within the educational institution.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators to align strategic goals with institutional priorities and values.
3. **Program Development and Innovation:**
- Design and implement innovative programs and initiatives that promote student engagement, retention, and well-being.
- Collaborate with various departments to integrate academic and non-academic support services, ensuring a holistic approach to student success.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in student success, retention, and well-being.
4. **Collaboration and Partnership:**
- Collaborate with academic advisors, counselors, student affairs professionals, and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive support services to students.
- Establish partnerships with community organizations, employers, and other institutions to enhance opportunities for student success and well-being.
- Serve as a liaison between students and institutional leadership, advocating for policies and resources that support student success.
5. **Assessment and Evaluation:**
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of programs and initiatives to measure their impact on student success and well-being.
- Collect feedback from students, faculty, and staff to inform programmatic improvements and enhancements.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate outcomes and recommendations to institutional leadership and stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
- Master's or doctoral degree in Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, related field (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in student affairs, academic advising, or related role, with demonstrated leadership and program development skills.
- Strong understanding of student success, retention, and well-being issues in higher education.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build effective partnerships.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in student support services.
- Experience with data analysis, assessment, and program evaluation.
- Innovative mindset and ability to design and implement creative solutions to complex challenges.
