Study Visa Counsellor – JD (KRA) Key Responsibilities Areas: Greets to clients: Greeting students and parents in a warm and professional manner is essential for building positive relationships and creating a welcoming atmosphere. so that they comfortable with their counsellor. Be Attentive: Listen actively to what they have to say and show empathy towards their concerns or inquiries. Maintain Professionalism: While being friendly and approachable, it's important to maintain a professional demeanour throughout the interaction. Consultation and Assessment: Conduct one-on-one consultations with students to understand their academic background, career goals, and study abroad preferences. Assess students' eligibility for various study visa programs based on their qualifications and objectives. Visa Information and Guidance: Provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding visa requirements, application procedures, financial documentation, and other relevant documentation needed for visa processing. Guide students on how to prepare a strong visa application. Documentation Assistance: Assist students in gathering and organizing the required documents, such as academic transcripts, IELTS, financial statements, and Passport ensuring compliance with visa regulations and embassy requirements. Communication and follow up: Serve as the primary point of contact for students throughout the visa application process. Maintain regular communication via email, phone, or in-person meetings to provide updates, address inquiries, and offer support until the visa is issued. Offer Assistance: Let them know that you're available to assist them with any questions or concerns they may have. You can say, "Please feel free to ask if you need any help or information during our conversation." Registration: if student is ready to proceed his / her application and then CRO will update all details in Salesforce for further process App share with admission: After registration CRO will share all required docs with admission department. Follow up for offer letter: Regular follow with admission team via call /Email for offer updates. Follow for Processing fees: Follow up with their student to pay processing fees Filing and Services Affidavit: CRO prepare student’s FA/ SA from student so that they do not blame to company for any fraudulent consequences Introduce Forex Department for Tuition fees Process: They have to ensure that student will interact will our Forex department for Tuition fees deposit GIC A/C: Guide their student, how we open his / her A/C in Canadian Bank for Granted investment Certificate and how they will receive back this amount back (ICICI, SIMPLY Nova scotia etc.) SOP Follow up: Share student Data with SOP department for prepared his / her letter of intent. Start process for Filing: After received Loa, fees receipt cro will share data with pre filer to file allotment including required documents (ID proof, medical fees receipt, offer, financial docs etc .) After visa: guide their student how to registered their courses and immigration clearness process etc. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of student interactions, visa applications, documentation, and outcomes. Generate reports on visa application trends, success rates, and challenges to identify areas for improvement. Qualification & Skills: Education and Knowledge: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. • In-depth understanding of immigration laws and visa regulations. Experience: • Previous roles in student services or advising, preferably in international education. Communication and Counselling Skills: • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Ability to counsel and guide students on academic and visa matters. Interpersonal Skills: • Strong interpersonal skills for diverse student interactions. • Cultural sensitivity and rapport-building abilities. • Regulatory Compliance and Problem-Solving: • Adherence to regulatory requirements. • Skill in addressing visa-related challenges.
