Subject Matter Expert/ Specialist (Job Vacancy)

We are looking for knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in various subjects like English, Maths, Hindi, Science, Social Science & Pre-Primary to join our team. The SME will be responsible for providing their expertise and guidance on the development and implementation of curriculum, ensuring that they meet the needs of educators and students.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with instructional designers, content developers, and educators to create and review subject related curriculum materials, including textbooks, lesson plans, and digital resources.
• Develop and/or review assessment items, quizzes, and exams to measure student understanding and proficiency in subject concepts., Ensure that all educational materials and assessments align with relevant educational standards and guidelines.
• Conduct research on current trends advancements, and best practices in the specific subject education to inform content development and instructional strategies.
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to internal teams on subject related content, pedagogy, and instructional design principles.
• Collaborate with external partners, including educational institutions and publishers, to develop and evaluate the resources and materials.
• Support the professional development of educators by designing and delivering training sessions, workshops, and webinars on chemistry content and teaching strategies.
• Support the professional development of educators by designing and delivering training sessions, workshops, and webinars on subject related content and teaching strategies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and digital tools for enhancing the instruction and student learning experiences.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of educational resources, including textbooks, software, and laboratory equipment
• Represent the organisation at conferences, workshops, and other professional development events as a subject matter expert in subject matter education.

Pre-requisites:

• Minimum experience of 5 years. Corporate experience is a plus.
• Experience in content writing for the specific subject
• Good communication skills
• Willing to travel
