TGT MATHS TEACHER (Job Vacancy)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join our team of educators. The Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and prepare engaging and effective lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
2. Deliver instruction in mathematics using a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on activities.
3. Assess student progress and understanding through formative and summative assessments, including tests, quizzes, projects, and homework assignments.
4. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
5. Identify students who may need additional support or enrichment and collaborate with colleagues and support staff to address their needs.
6. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance.
7. Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
8. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported.
9. Participate in departmental meetings, professional development activities, and school events as required.
10. Stay up-to-date with current trends and best practices in mathematics education.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. B.Ed./M.Ed. from any recognised university.
3. Previous experience teaching mathematics at the middle school, high school, or college level (preferred).
4. Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and principles across various topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
6. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, parents, and administrators.
8. Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
