Job Description
Lead and manage a team of educators, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure the highest standards of performance and professional development.
• Collaborate with departmental heads and stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to enhance the quality and effectiveness of educational programs.
• Oversee curriculum development, ensuring alignment with educational standards, objectives, and student needs.
• Monitor and evaluate the delivery of educational programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance program effectiveness.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives within the department.
• Coordinate training sessions and professional development opportunities for educators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Manage budgets, resources, and administrative tasks related to the education department, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Cultivate partnerships and collaborations with educational institutions, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance program offerings and opportunities for students.
• Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in education to inform decision
making and program development.
• Represent the education department in meetings, conferences, and other relevant events, advocating for the department's interests and objectives.
• Generate revenue through sales.
• Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum development, educational standards, and pedagogical approaches.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build partnerships.
• Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
• Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications or professional development in educational leadership or management is a plus.
