Technical Program Manager About the Company: Teachmint is a leading ed-infra company and creator of the Integrated School Platform (ISP) with over 15 million users in 25+ countries. Available in 20+ languages, the ISP is a school operating system empowering all stakeholders in a school with a unique all-in-one platform that offers state-of-the-art administrator tools for better school management and a modern LMS to enable better learning outcomes in schools. Overview: As a Technical Program Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and oversee technical projects from initial conception through testing and deployment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams comprising developers, product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects within predefined scope and time constraints. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution: ● Collaborate with product managers and Engineering leadership to define sprint objectives, scope, and deliverables. ● Coordinate resources, tasks, and schedules effectively to meet sprint milestones. ● Monitor task progress and proactively resolve any issues or roadblocks that may arise. Release Management: ● Collaborate with stakeholders to define release schedules and priorities. ● Coordinate with product, development, and testing teams to plan and execute software releases. ● Ensure proper version control and documentation throughout the release process. ● Monitor release progress and address any issues or delays to minimize impact on project timelines. ● Continuously evaluate and improve release management processes to enhance efficiency and reliability. Continuous Improvement: ● Identify opportunities for process improvement, task automation, and efficiency gains within project management and development workflows. ● Lead retrospectives and post-project reviews to gather feedback, extract key learnings, and implement improvements for future projects. Qualifications and Skills: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field ● Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or in a similar role within a technology-driven environment. ● Strong understanding of software development methodologies and terminologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.). ● Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA and Excel. ● Technical acumen with familiarity in software development processes and databases (e.g. MongoDB). ● Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. ● Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. ● Certification in Project Management (PMP, Agile, etc.) is a plus.
