Key Responsibilities:
- Timetable Creation: Develop, maintain, and update the university's academic timetable, ensuring that it aligns with the academic calendar and meets the needs of various Schools/departments and programs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with academic departments, faculty, and administrative staff to gather information on course offerings, faculty availability, classroom assignments, and other scheduling requirements.
- Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, including room conflicts, instructor availability issues, and student course conflicts, while optimizing resource utilization.
- Course Registration: Coordinate course registration processes and timelines, ensuring that students have access to necessary information and can register for courses efficiently.
- Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of classrooms, laboratories, and other academic facilities to support the delivery of courses and exams.
- Technology Integration: Utilize scheduling software and tools to facilitate the creation and maintenance of timetables, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the scheduling process.
- Communication: Communicate timetable changes and updates to relevant stakeholders, including students, faculty, and administrative staff, through various channels like the ERP, emails, or notifications.
