Job Description

Semiconductor- JD Job title:- VLSI Mentor As a VLSI Mentor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring individuals or teams working in the field of Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI). You will utilize your expertise in VLSI design, verification, and implementation to provide guidance and support to engineers, designers, and students. Your responsibilities will include: Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to individuals or teams working on VLSI projects. Offer technical expertise, advice, and support throughout the project lifecycle. • Technical Support: Assist in solving technical challenges related to VLSI design, verification, and implementation. Offer insights and best practices to optimize designs and improve efficiency. • Training and Development: Develop training materials and conduct workshops or training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of VLSI engineers and designers. Stay updated with the latest advancements in VLSI technology and methodologies. • Project Oversight: Review and evaluate VLSI projects to ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines. Provide feedback and recommendations for improvement as needed. • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, software engineers, and project managers to drive successful project outcomes. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment and coordination across teams. • Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the field of VLSI. Explore new methodologies and techniques to improve design efficiency, performance, and reliability. • Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate project progress, findings, and recommendations effectively. • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, methodologies, and tools related to VLSI design and development.  Qualifications: • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. • Extensive experience(Min. 2 years)  in VLSI design, verification, and implementation. • Strong understanding of digital design principles, ASIC/FPGA design flows, and industry-standard tools (Cadence and Synopsys). • Proficiency in hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, VHDL) and verification methodologies (e.g., UVM, SystemVerilog).and scripting languages (e.g., Perl) • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Prior experience in mentoring or coaching roles is desirable. • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and solve complex technical challenges.
