Vice Principal (Job Vacancy)

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice Principal to join our leadership team and contribute to the continued success and growth of our school. The Vice Principal will play a pivotal role in supporting the Principal in the overall administration, management, and strategic direction of the school.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Principal in developing and implementing the school's strategic plan, policies, and procedures to promote academic excellence, student achievement, and overall school improvement.
• Provide leadership and guidance to teachers, staff, and students in fostering a positive and inclusive school culture that values diversity, equity, and respect.
• Collaborate with the Principal and other administrators in planning and coordinating educational programs, curriculum development, and instructional initiatives to meet the needs of all students.
• Oversee the assessment and evaluation of student progress, academic performance, and instructional effectiveness, and use data-driven decision-making processes to inform instructional practices and interventions.
• Support the recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of teachers and staff to ensure high standards of teaching, professionalism, and staff development.
• Manage student discipline, behavior management, and student support services in accordance with school policies, procedures, and student welfare guidelines.
• Serve as a liaison between the school, parents, guardians, fostering positive relationships, communication.
• Assist in the development and implementation of school safety measures, emergency response protocols, and crisis management procedures to ensure a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff.
• Participate in professional development activities, workshops, conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on educational research, trends, best practices, and leadership development.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Education, or a related field. Doctorate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership roles, such as assistant principal, department head, or curriculum coordinator.
• Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate, lead teams, and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data analysis, assessment practices, and educational standards to inform decision-making and improve student outcomes.
• Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education, and fostering a supportive and inclusive school culture.
• Experience in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and teacher evaluation and professional development.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a focus on student success and school improvement.
