We are looking for a passionate and qualified Western Music Teacher to join our school's creative arts department. The Western Music Teacher will be responsible for inspiring and educating students in the fundamentals of Western music, fostering an appreciation for various musical genres, and nurturing their musical talents. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for teaching Western music that aligns with educational standards and the school's objectives.
Music Instruction: Teach students of various grade levels how to read sheet music, play musical instruments (e.g., piano, guitar, violin), and sing.
Music Theory: Provide instruction in music theory, including key signatures, scales, chords, and harmony.
Music History: Introduce students to the history of Western music, its prominent composers, and significant musical eras.
Ensemble Leadership: Organize and lead musical ensembles, such as choirs or bands, and guide students in group performances.
Individualized Instruction: Offer one-on-one guidance and support to students, helping them develop their musical talents and addressing specific learning needs.
Performance Preparation: Prepare students for musical performances, recitals, and competitions by coaching them in rehearsals, stage presence, and musical interpretation.
